NEW Higher Factory UTV Tire Carrier For Polaris RZR XP Turbo S

 

Finding the right aftermarket parts for your Polaris RZR Turbo S, or any side by side, is not always easy.  We all want something different and many of the companies makes what works best for them.  Our scenario centers around our 2019 Polaris RZR Turbo S 4 and our needs of carrying a lot of items and still keeping full view out the rearview mirror.  Everything we looked at limited what we put in the bed or placed our tire right where you look out the back.

Factory UTV made the closest spare tire carrier to what we wanted.  It sat back a bit more along with being lower.  We contacted them and were able to talk with the right people.  After explaining what we needed, they modified their tire carrier to meet our needs.  The good news is that if you want this tire carrier also, you can contact Factory UTV and get the same one.  https://www.factoryutv.net/

With the higher Factory UTV tire carrier, we are able to place about half the tire above the roof and the other half over the bed.  This allows us to use our Adventure Rack and keep a significant amount of storage for anything needed.

This tire carrier does make our machine almost 7′ 2″ tall, but when driving it around on uneven terrain, you would not ever know that weight is up there.  The tire looks like it belongs up there and there is not a sound that comes from the tire carrier or the tire.  We made sure to mount ours so it was a 1/2″ off the roof.

The bars that hold the tire are also a great place to mount chase lights, reverse lights and other items that you find useful when offroad.

We do not see a single bit of this tire carrier in the rearview mirror and we could not be happier with the outcome of this custom tire carrier.  The clamps make it very sturdy and add rigidity to the Turbo S cage in the rear.
