DEWALT 20V XR 1/2″ High Torque Impact Wrench Normal Battery Kit

DEWALT 20V XR 1/2″ High Torque Impact Wrench Oil Resistant Battery Kit

DEWALT came out swinging with the new hard-hitting DCF900 20V XR 1/2″ High Torque Impact Wrench! This impact wrench has topped the charts on the Torque Test Channel and in the real world, its hard-hitting manners have destroyed more than a few impact-rated sockets by making the drive end very sloppy!

The DEWALT DCF900 is perfect for working on vehicles in the rust belt ad the hard-hitting nature works just about any rusted fastener loose. With 1,400 ft-lbs of nut-busting power, this impact wrench could remove Semi Truck lugs without issue.

If you are the person who needs to have the best and baddest tool on the market, this new DEWALT Impact Wrench is a must-have!

This new impact wrench is 6.4 pounds without a battery, so it is a bit heavy for routine daily tasks. Rotating tires on a small passenger car can be done with the three modes, but there are smaller and lighter tools that will do that job just as well.

There is also a precision fastener mode for construction-related tasks. That mode will ramp up and ramp down the RPM and the IPM to aid in fastening and removing just about any style of fastener.

We purchased the DCF900GP2 kit that includes the oil-resistant batteries as we always seem to use these large impact wrenches with some sort of penetrating lubricant. This helps the batteries to remain intact much longer as the penetrating lubricant will do nasty stuff to rubber over mold over time.

We like what DEWALT did with the mode selector and the lighting, but we do miss our old slider switch as it was not deteriorated by liquid wrench. Our mode selector button is already pealing slightly from use with penetrating lube on our hands.

Either way, we are thrilled that DEWALT has stepped up its game and brought out this beast of an impact wrench!
