The NEW Milwaukee Tool M18 FUEL Compact Band Saw is a perfectly sized, light-weight, balanced portable band saw with a capacity of 3-1/4” X 3-1/4”. As with all M18 FUEL products, this Compact Band Saw has Brushless motor. Something new to Milwaukee Tools that are on this saw is what is called Jobsite Armor Technology. This means the tool is better protected from drops and debris with a proprietary composite material and crush zone barriers to absorb impacts. This new Compact Band Saw features a variable speed trigger, tool-free locking adjustable shoe, and LED work light, integrated rafter hook, and the option to attach a pipe reamer (49-90-2029, sold separately) to the back of the band saw to cut and ream with the same tool. One 8/10 TPI Extreme metal cutting band saw blade is included with the kit and also with the bare tool. Our blade suffered from a poor weld, but the saw still performed well and cut through everything we threw at it with ease.
