Milwaukee Tool has shown they are serious about becoming a part of each mechanics tool set by significantly expanding their automotive tool offerings.  Some of the new tools are very common in use and some are entirely new to the automotive mechanic’s scene. Here is a list of all the new tools and the information available for them.

Milwaukee M12 FUEL High-Speed Ratchets

  • 2566-20, 2567-20 – $179 BARE TOOL
  • 2566-22, 2567-22 – $259 KIT

The new Milwaukee M12 FUEL 1/4″ and 3/8″ High-Speed Ratchets are much faster than the previous generation with 450 RPM.  This new gearing upgrade allows for faster fastener removal but decreases the torque of the ratchet.  No worries though, you can use this ratchet manually to break the fastener loose and then take advantage of the higher speed removal.  This new system allows for a much more compact head size and a recessed direction knob.  This is a significant upgrade for getting into tight places.  We look forward to extended versions of these!

Milwaukee Stubby Ratchets

  • 48-22-9003 – $24.99
  • 48-22-9036 – $34.99

Milwaukee Stubby Ratchets are the same 90-tooth count and have the same  4° of arc swing as the standard Milwaukee Tool Ratchets available now.  They are simply shorter allowing access to work in tighter spaces. A slim-profile head and flush directional lever combined with the stubby handle length offers increased accessibility.

Milwaukee Extended Handle Ratchets

  • 48-22-9005 – $39.99
  • 48-22-9037 – $49.99
  • 48-22-9050 – $69.99

Milwaukee Extended Handle Ratchets are the same 90-tooth count and have the same  4° of arc swing as the standard Milwaukee Tool Ratchets available now. The extended handle length provides increased leverage.  The slim profile design and a flush directional lever offer better accessibility.

Milwaukee Shockwave Impact Duty Sockets

Milwaukee Tool’s SHOCKWAVE Impact Duty 6-Point Socket Lineup will be available in 1/4″,
3/8″, 1/2″, 3/4″, and 1″ drives.  This lineup will include impact extensions, adapters, universal joints, reducers, socket rails and clips, and retaining rings. These sockets are designed for use with impact wrenches, drivers, and ratchets.  What sets these impact sockets apart from everything else is the boldest, longer-lasting markings.  These markings are machined into the socket and ink-filled so they will not wear off.  The markings are very impressive.

Milwaukee Tool Flex Head Ratcheting Combination Wrenches

  • 48-22-9529 – $169.99
  • 48-22-9513 – $289.99
  • 48-22-9429 – $169.99
  • 48-22-9413 – $289.99

The Milwaukee Flex Head Ratcheting Combination Wrench Sets feature 2.5° of arc swing
and 144-tooth gearing. The flexhead wrenches have double-stacked pawls within the ratcheting mechanism for increased durability and a flexible head allows for increased accessibility in hard-to-reach areas. The Maxbite Open-End Grip improves the wrench’s grip on nuts and bolts, offering 25% more torque than smooth-faced wrenches.  Maxbite is currently available in the Milwaukee tool combination wrench offerings.

Best of all, the new Milwaukee Tool hand tools come with a No Questions Asked Lifetime Warranty.  The warranty will be available for people by calling over the phone or by using a website.  This is a HUGE step forward for Milwaukee tool to enter this segment and show mechanics that Milwaukee Tool is serious about their segment.
