We have done a lot of testing with the DEWALT PowerStack battery, but nothing to this extent. The DEWALT PowerStack is an amazing battery for its size, but at this point in time, it really should be limited in use to smaller tools. But with that said, for power output, the PowerStack battery was able to hang with many batteries up to the 5Ah XR battery. That is impressive.
The DEWALT lineup of batteries is amazing and most have a ton of power. The battery you choose might be smaller for light-duty work or it might be larger for long-term endurance, or it might even be larger for the best performance. We proved in this test the winners in each category!
The big takeaway from this test was that the small 2Ah compact batteries are not worth having around. The performance level was not on par with anything else and the size to weight ratio of it compared to others makes it obsolete. While it might be inexpensive to obtain, you got what you paid for.
