Best Side By Side Mirror

Since our switch from ATV’s to Side by Sides and UTV’s, we have enjoyed a lot of the benefits that come with being in a cage.  One of the big benefits is the ability to mount mirrors to observe what is happening around you.  Your Side by Side is simply an off-road car and knowing where your buddy or a passerby is on the trail is just as important as it would be in your truck on the road.

Many people seem to make the mistake of thinking that outside mirrors are the best to purchase first.  That could not be farther from the truth.  Your drive and passenger mirrors will give you less view, be open to dirt and mud, hang out and hit trees and be more prone to vibrate than a center mounted rear view mirror.  We will always suggest that everyone buy a high quality rear view mirror before purchasing outside mirrors.

In this case, we purchased an Assault Industries Bomber Convex Center Mirror because of the extra view we get out of the shape and its ability to be mounted out of the way and still fold up out of the way at night to stop any lights from distracting us.  Assault Industries makes high-quality mirrors with nice CNC overlays.  We have had great luck with them over time on all of our machines, including the side view mirrors they produce.
