Major Can Am X3 Weak Point Add Adjustable Front Sway Bar Links ASAP

The stock front sway bar links are known to have the rubber joints pull apart if rode aggressively or in rocky situations.  These are not an expensive part and they should be one of the first few mods you make!  While you are at it, the rear sway bar links should be replaced at the same time.  This is a 20-minute project at the most.  Use this time to make sure that all the joints with grease zerks are lubricated and do a little cleaning of the areas where you are installing the new links.

Hand tools are all that is needed.  We used an 18mm and 19mm socket, 18mm, 19mm and 21mm combination wrenches and also a nice adjustable wrench to lock the sway bar links in place.

The 2019 Can Am X3’s use a larger front sway bar bolt than the 17 and 18 models.  Make sure your 2019 sway bar links have an M12 bolt and do not install the smaller M10 bolt from the 2017 and 2018 models on a 2019!  Companies should have 2 different part numbers for these years.

We used the following parts:
