The Milwaukee Tool M18 FUEL Vacuum Kit 9 Gallon 36V Wet/Dry Vac is made in the USA with global materials. We all talk a big game about wanting to buy Made In The USA products and also say we will all pay more to do so. This is your time to pony up and pay for it. This new Milwaukee Fuel Dual Battery vac is not inexpensive. There was a lot of thought put into this by Milwaukee Tool and there is a lot of versatility in this vacuum. There have to be 50 accessories for this vac between the different power heads, canisters, rolling carts, and air tip nozzles. If you want to own a 6-gallon and 9-gallon vac, you only need to buy one and then buy a separate canister.
The performance of this vacuum is compared by Milwaukee to a 4.25 hp model. IMHO, this model will play in the same category as any other 15 amp wet dry vac with a 1-7/8″ hose. There is very little difference between this Milwaukee Tool Vac and our 6.5 hp Workshop Vac.
Runtime is going to be a big question and we cover the runtime on both high and low and equate it out to Ah. On high, you get approximately 3 minutes of runtime per Ah of the batteries used. Remember, this will use any two M18 batteries, but the runtime will be determined by the smaller or less charged battery. On low, this will run approximately 5 minutes per Ah. So if you use two 8Ah batteries, you will get 24 minutes of runtime on low and 40 minutes on high. If you use one 12Ah and one 5Ah battery, you will get 15 minutes on high and 25 minutes on low. Two 12Ah batteries will yield 36 minutes on high and 60 minutes on low.
The one item missing from this vacuum is a battery gauge. I did not bring it up in the video because the batteries are right up front and easy to see. But if you have one battery with less charge than another, a gauge would be nice.
Overall, this vacuum absolutely kills it in all ways. it is nice to be able to be perfectly positive that the hose will not come out from the vac when you pull it around by the hose. The quality of craftsmanship is excellent. The number of replacement parts and accessories is out of this world. Milwaukee Tool nailed it with this new vac system!
