→ BLUETTI Portable Power Station AC200P 2000W/2000Wh Solar Generator
We have been looking at Battery Operated inverters for a few years with little luck finding one that would work for our needs. The EGO Nexus blew up electronics on our last 5th wheel. The Ryobi 40V Inverter fell way too short on even meeting its marketed specs and is overpriced for what you get. We paid $1,600 for this unit but feel that the lithium iron phosphate battery cells will far outlast all others and give us a decade of use.
The Bluetti AC200P also solves a lot of issues we have found with other inverters when used for Home Backup Power.
First, this inverter gives you the option to have it run on Eco mode or not. That means you can tell this inverter to stay running until the battery is dead if you are powering something that draws very little power or has something that turns on and off like a refrigerator or sump pump.
Second, this unit will accept AC power and also send out AC power, so it will allow you to use this and charge the unit at the same time. You can also solar charge and AC charge at the same time.
If you are solar charging, this inverter will turn on with any input from a solar panel so the integrated MPPT can do its job of charging the battery pack as fast as possible.
The six 20-amp outlets on the front of this unit can provide 4800 watts surge, 2500 watts for up to minutes, and consistent output of 2000 watts. We were easily able to show you this in the video while other models would quickly turn off when we came close to 2000 watts.
For the money, this portable power bank will output more power in many different ways, including a 15-watt wireless system, and it will outlast other inverters on the market due to the battery system used.
