You Can mount a Half Windshield on a Can-Am X3 with Intrusion Bars. You need about $20 in parts and 10 minutes of time. This is a very simple project to allow you to mount a half windshield for the summer and even allow you to mount a full windshield later without removing what you need to mount your half windshield again.
While mounting our Dragonfire Racing Intrusion Bars, the directions said a full windshield will work, but not a half windshield. We want to be able to use both, so with some parts we had around the shop we were easily able to make a half windshield work. The video above shows how we did it with ease. Below are the parts you would need if you do not have them sitting around.
